ABOUT THE BRAND

Founded in 2019 by designer Nina Wan while she was studying at Parsons School of Design in New York, Piacevole e is a womenswear brand shaped by classical design, expressive prints, and a distinctly romantic point of view.

The brand takes its name from the Italian musical direction piacevole, meaning pleasant and expressive. Inspired by Nina’s childhood memories of playing the piano, each collection draws from the emotional world of classical music—from the lyricism of Debussy and Chopin to the intimacy of Schubert. These influences are translated into thoughtful silhouettes, original prints, and carefully considered details.

Having grown up across cultures, Nina brings together a contemporary global perspective and an instinctive Chinese sensibility. References to modern artists such as Cy Twombly meet subtle color choices and refined Eastern details, creating a visual language that feels both familiar and unexpected.

Piacevole e celebrates women who express themselves with confidence and ease—soft yet strong, romantic yet independent, and always free to define elegance on their own terms.
